Save Your Seeds

If your plants have seed pods, it’s time to start thinking about trapping the seeds when the pod opens. If you don’t put something on the pod to catch the seeds, they will fly away in the wind, because they’re so lightweight, or they’ll drop on the ground and can be hard to see.

What you can use:

Mesh bag: These are the bags you see in produce departments in grocery stores. Some stores even sell the bags.

Pantyhose: Yes this works as well.

Homemade: My wife makes these bags you see in the photos. She gets the netting to make the bag and the yarn to close the bag at Walmart.
